You don’t have to do enemy works in hoodoo.

But you have to respect them and their purpose.

To not respect these works and their place in history is to disrespect the history of African Americans. 

Instead of saying ‘I don’t like that hoodoo was used to harm people’, You should be saying ‘I don’t like the fact that Black people were oppressed to the point where they needed to use magic to kill people, keep the law away, force people to move, and force people to do their bidding.’

‘Cause you know- history.
