Storm Witches

earthandoceantarot:

Don’t let them steal your wildness! You are not a spring shower, to be mapped on a radar and spread wide to the world!

Snarl at the stormclouds, lips skinned back over sharp, strong teeth! Race them on the interstate, with the spirits of swishing tails and battering hooves rolling along your tires and through your engine. Your car is kin to our four legged cousins; give it lightning and challenge the storm!

Run from your home as you hear the thunder roll! Race through the grass and cling to the fence, laughing like a demon as the wind whips your face. Fear not the gaze of others: they hide from the sky with closed blinds and locked doors. If someone sees, let them! Whom will they tell of the wildwoman cased in lightning? Who will believe them?

Rake back your hair as the drops slap your face, leaving streaks of moisture; they are your sigils, the only religious vestments you need! What greater power could you baptize yourself with? Spin with the slapping winds, let the hail bruise you in whipping initiation!

You are power. Your voice is a thunderclap, your words are lightning strikes! Scream to the storm, and hear it scream back!
