-if/when you buy a mortar and pestle, DO NOT buy one made out of soft stone!! (like pewter, limestone, and pumice) when you grind up herbs and what have you, it also grinds the rock into rock dust, which will get into your concoction. ingesting or inhaling such can be harmful and could mess up a spell.
instead, buy one out of marble or polished Quartz! (or any hard stone with a large number on Moh’s hardness scale)
