So, it’s a new year and I thought some of y’all might benefit from this cool spread I found in Evelin Burger and Johannes Fiebig’s Complete Book of Tarot Spreads.
This spread uses the Major Arcana only:
Where you stand now.
Where you want to be (your goal).
Your path.
The third card, your path, will be the result of the number of steps from the first card to the second card.
In other words, if your first card is Death and your second card is The Moon, then your third card will be The Hierophant. If your first card is Judgement and your second card is The High Priestess, then your third card is The Emperor.
I imagine that this same idea could be adapted for use with many numbered oracle decks as well!
