@darkartkitty the practice of the Wiccan religion is dependent on taking energy from the earth and nature so the fact that this blog is telling you to “charge” your crystals using your phone is outrageous and incredibly insulting to those who practice the craft. This isn’t “new age” Wiccan. This is just…indescribably uneducated. There is no reason why someone cannot charge their cards or crystals on their window sill in the moonlight. That’s exactly what I have done for near ten years. Everything you do the charge your crystals is free unless you want to cleanse them in distilled water which you can get a gallon at the store for .88c.

When stones collect and absorb electromagnetic radiation it’s not good for them or you. That’s why they have to be cleanse/charged with incense, moonlight, etc. O__o SOME crystals can get sick and won’t work properly if they absorb too much radiation.

Many wiches, wiccan and not, work with man-made crystals, cards, pendulums, and other objects. Witches have always used what’s most available to them.
