Scandal?

As in the Television show? I can’t really rant or rave about it because I’ve never watched it. HOWEVER, I can rant about the genre…

My thing is that I just don’t get the fascination with shows like Scandal. The whole cutthroat show where everyone has secrets and no one can trust anyone else. Isn’t LIFE enough like that? Why do I want to spend my time watching people back stab one another for power or fame or money? 

I’ll admit that I enjoy shows like Person of Interest, NCIS franchise, and even Gotham and Arrow, but I’ve just never found any joy in shows like Scandal, The Good Wife, Madam Secretary, etc. 

Maybe I’m just not one to find entertainment in political dramas. Maybe that’s just me. /rant-ramble
