Butterflies

I have a UPG that I associate butterflies with Cernunnos. They are so free and beautiful, but if you know enough about them you know they’re scavengers and feed off dead animals for liquid nutrients like salt. When I learned this I thought it was rather fitting that I’d loved such a “pretty” animal for so long that had a darker side to them.

Cernunnos is the same way to me. I have an opportunity to see Him in so many different facets and aspects that I’m always in awe of Him.
