One word: hands

Calloused and worn by time and hard work
Strong yet gentle enough to treat the most fragile of things with care
Skilled and capable of holding up even the heaviest of burdens
They pack the pipes He smokes with fragrant tobaccos
And I could watch Him whittle for hours
His hands make mine seem small and fragile
And I place my own, and my life and love, into them daily with awe and reverence

{Drop a random word in my inbox and I’ll talk about something related to my faith that has to do with that word.}
