✨  Don’t have any candles to work with? Can’t have candles in your dorm/ home? Here’s a fun, witchy alternative to the light of your life! This method includes frosting glass to give light a glowing look inside of a jar- 

✨  Get together a jar/bottle with frosted glass, and some tiny LED lights- You can find some good lights here, here, and here

✨  There are several ways you can frost glass. Believe it or not, you can frost glass with a special type of spray paint (Rust-Oleum manufactures a popular version). Applying the finish is easy. Apply a thin coat and let it dry. Apply additional coats, if you wish for great opacity.  Being that the spray paint comes at a low cost, it’s worth a shot if you want to frost glass in your home. You can also frost glass by means of a window film. It’s actually non-adhesive and works via static cling. That means it’s forgiving: If you don’t get the application precisely right on the first try, you can start over pretty easily. First, thoroughly wash the surface to be frosted, using glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Next, combine water with a couple drops of dish detergent in a spray bottle. Then proceed to lightly spritz the glass before applying the window film. As you go, remove air bubbles with a squeegee.

✨  This use is super nice, because you could replace the color of the lights in the bottle if you want something specific to intent, and it provides a lot of light to envelope a space. It’s also, obviously, fire safe! I use this when I’m working in my dorm, and sometimes as a light that I can keep constantly running while I sleep. It’s really rewarding when you fix the bottles up yourself!

(This post is not to call anyone out nor is it aimed at anyone in particular. This is not to cause anxiety or worry; it’s simply something I’ve been thinking on given past friendships and how they progressed and ended.)

If we are friends and, for whatever reason, our friendship has run its course; tell me so. All they have to do is come talk to me and level with me what they’re feeling. I might be disappointed and saddened, but if a person I care about wants to leave I would rather them tell me the truth instead of letting a dying friendship fester in silence.

I’m not going to guilt them into staying or demand they rethink it. More than likely I’ve already picked up on the fact that something is off. If leaving eases anything negative they are feeling (and any anxiety I might have) that’s a better option to me.

I know from experience with past friendships that ignoring those feelings doesn’t do anything good for the friends involved. Running from the feeling that it’s over and ignoring it only makes things worse and silence and distance only make the people involved feel like they’re to blame. I don’t want that for anyone I love. Whether I’m the reason for them leaving or if our time is simply up.

So if anyone I know ever feels this way just talk to me. I’d appreciate the closure of a reason if they have one, but if not I appreciate the honesty of just telling me what they’re feeling. I promise we’ll either talk it out our part ways amicably and feeling better for it. 💜

@fallenangelmuse I can find no sources on this info. If you have any sites or blogs that definitively show this symbol as one of Hers I’d be very interested to see them.

I know many sources that say that the symbol commonly known as the Flower of Life has been documented in many places throughout the world with ties to many cultures and religions.

Like I said; I’d love to see any sources to show this. 😊

Head’s up folks! Tumblr decided to shit the bed and go non-chronological!

This bullshit is being rolled out this week and it’s going to be default!

Ah yay, another feature to deactivate immediately!

Has anyone actually ever wanted this bullshit feature in any of the social media apps????? Like I’d rather give all the people I follow the same power posting wise than let the popular ones go first. Ugh

No.  No one has ever wanted this ‘feature,’ with the exception of advertisers!  Because if your posts aren’t chronological, then it’s easier to slip more stuff they ‘think’ we’ll ‘like,’ ie something someone else PAID to go first in our feeds.

@staff Making things like this a default instead of allowing an opt-in is why everyone hates and mistrusts you.

NO. NO ONE WANTS THIS. 

Ugh, I hate non-chronological feeds SO MUCH. Time to obsessively check my settings and make sure to deactivate this whenever the hell it shows up.

Also, interesting how the screenshot of the settings only shows the mobile app options. I’m going to keep a close eye on my web browser version, too.
