~ I actually don’t have nightmares the way most people have nightmares. I have unsettling dreams, but it apparently takes a lot to really scare me? But I don’t really recall one truly terrible dream at the moment.

I was also wondering why I wasn’t feeling the nice energy shift like others and then I realized that my anxiety was blocking that.
Essentially my anxiety went “There was a shift… What. The. Fuck. Was. That?!?! SHOULD I PANIC?!?! I FEEL LIKE YES?!”
And that’s why I’m not feeling it so much it as nicely, but as I calm my anxiety down I’m starting to feel it more. Still wish I’d have belt like preparing more for this.
@sylvaetria Mine has retreated now for the most part. I really just had to go about my day like nothing happened and let myself adjust.
I still have that feeling that things are changing and shifting, but it’s almost like I can’t look it straight in the eyes yet?
Honestly my gut is pointing me towards the vacation trip coming up. It’s a trip to the mountains of NC AND the coast… Anyone who knows me well enough knows that those are both areas with mega feels for me, so I keep feeling like whatever my shift is it’s coming around then. Exciting and nerve wrecking, honestly.
Seattle hit 92% occlusion in the eclipse today, and while my pinhole camera was a bit of a bust, nature gave me an assist in the most incredible leaf-shadow patterns. I’ve never seen anything like this on the walkway.
I’m not quite sure what I expected, but this wasn’t it. I think maybe I thought it would be like dusk, and it wasn’t at all–no hazyness, no redness. It was a little more like light through stormclouds, only without any clouds; blue-gold summer sunlight turning blue-white and then dark silver, but shadow edges totally crisp and clean the way they aren’t in a storm. A pure, clear darkening, nothing muddled or hazy. Like the light of an alien planet.
The birds were very confused.
And now we’re on the other side and the light is coming back golden again. A few of my friends traveled to areas where they could see the total eclipse, the black sky and corona, but I’m not disappointed that I didn’t. It was enough here to be suddenly intensely aware of the planet as a planet, of the sun as a star, of the movement of the moon and the earth.

If you find a bunch of bones that are A: untouched and B: supernaturally clean, there is definitely a reason for both of those things. Sometimes that reason is ants. Sometimes those ants are fire ants. Sometimes those fire ants have made a nest over the entire three meter area around those bones
