To Grandmother’s House We Go

Crucifixes dot the walls like oil stains. She is not Catholic, she is Southern Baptist, but fear and devotion can often blur the lines of denomination.

There’s a concoction simmering on the stove in a little copper pot. It gives the aroma of various herbs and rose petals. I ask her what it’s for, she only murmers, “afflictions.”

Her dementias gotten worse. She speaks of things watching her quietly from the shadows. Then, whisper her name as she tries to fall asleep. She says they look only vaguely human.

My Death Witch/Spirit Worker Masterpost

lonesome-bones:

Hey everyone! This is my list of resources I have made over the course of the existence of this blog, pertaining specifically to death witchcraft and spirit work. I hope it helps some of you, and provides a resource for you to use! I’ve also thrown in my death work stuff as well. Please note you can do these three things separately, I just choose to put them together for my own personal practice! Some items are from my old blog.

Thanks,

Bronwyn.

 Andddd….

Something fun:

Hey!!! Now that I am back, I want to know what you all want to see. I released all of my spirit companions when I was going through my healing process, and it went well, but I am feeling empty. I want to get back into the swing of things, and I think studying and such will help! So what do you want me to learn, practice, record, and then share?
