Do you know any apps (preferably free) or websites for tarot? I’ve been wanting to learn/practice but I don’t have money to buy a physical deck

I’m afraid I’m not much help in this area. All of my resources are physical decks or books. Followers: Do you have any apps or websites that you enjoy or find useful?*I’ll reblog and tag as “Tarot App Anon” for easy finding!*

This may be a stupid question but do all tarot decks, regardless of the theme, style, etc, have the same card types? Like the high priestess, the emperor, ect. Because I found a bunch of tarot decks I want and idk if they come with booklets that explain the cards’ meanings and I just don’t want to confuse myself. Thank you! <3

It’s not stupid at all, Nonny!  Most decks follow the same traditional setup with the Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles suits with a Knave/Page, Knight, Queen, and King card for each suit. Then of course all of the Major Arcana. Hi, I’m the girl who asked you about the agate gems, sorry to bother you again but this morning I put them in a bowl with salt and left them on my balcony cause I thought it’d be better then keeping them inside since my friend didn’t actually buy them recently as I assumed but four or even six years ago. How long should I keep them in the salt? And also, there was a bad storm earlier today, could it have had any effect on the gems? I’m a beginner and I’m still ignorant on the subject, sorry.

Don’t be sorry! Asking questions is good!  I usually leave mine in salt anywhere from a couple of hours to overnight. There’s no right or wrong amount of time to leave them in. I understand, I’ve been very bummed out myself Can I ask how do you know if you’ve picked the right cards for your tarot reading? I tried and I guess I don’t have enough energy to make a proper reading. 💫✨

It depends on the circumstances. Usually the meaning just clicks and I feel like the cards make sense. If you’re tired take a pic of the spread, or note the cards, and come back to it when you’ve had rest and can reflect on whether they make sense to you.
