How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2015?

Geeky witch? I have varied between flowy skirts and cute tops with witchy jewelry to geeky shirts with jeans and the same jewelry tho.  This year’s goal is weight loss and health, but next year? It’s fashion time, yo!  ^_^

What do you want to do more of in 2016? (if you’ve any goals, witchy or non-witchy in nature)

I actually made a small 2k16 Goals post the other day. I’m sure really sure about goals aside from getting healthier and losing some weight. Of course there’s the ever present “I WANT TO DO MORE EVERYTHING!” wishes, but I’m aware that those are unreasonable if they get out of control. I’d like work more on myContinue reading “What do you want to do more of in 2016? (if you’ve any goals, witchy or non-witchy in nature)”

what was one of your favorite witchy moments/projects from 2015?

That’s really hard to answer, actually. I kind of fell into my groove of doing magic when I felt it and just not bothering when it didn’t suit me. So I guess my answer would be becoming comfortable with myself as a witch and realizing that I’m a good witch even if I don’t practiceContinue reading “what was one of your favorite witchy moments/projects from 2015?”

self-care anon – thinking about your response, i wanted to thank you. I have been thinking about your response, and I think, perhaps, I was thinking too narrowly again and that was why things weren’t seeming to fit together. My deities have always been a part of my self-care, but for some reason I wasn’t associating my body-goals with self-care… which says much more about my view of my body than i had realized. anyways – thank you. It was more helpful than i think you realized.

I can see where you’re coming from. Body needs definitely should fall under self-care! How you treat your body can dictate how you feel and how your body performs on a daily basis. We’re all guilty, to some extent, of forgetting that I think. My advice is to ask to ask for help in thisContinue reading “self-care anon – thinking about your response, i wanted to thank you. Self-care anon: I only have knowledge of Greek deities. Consider Hestia, Demeter, Aphrodite, Pan. Look for gods associated with earth, spring, fertility, youth, life and the planet Venus, or even the moon. It doesn’t hurt to look into nutrition, or asking a doctor or registered dietician for their recommendations, since we are talking about our physical bodies. Good luck, and good health!

Thank you for your input, nonny! For the Self-Care Anon.

I’m trying to better care for my body, and I’ve been looking for a myth or deity or such to help me do this. Idk but do you have any recommendations of places to research? I’m most familiar with norse myth but open to exploring other lore for inspiration – including more generic neo-pagan Goddess things.

self-care anon again – sorry. i know it was kinda deity related, and i know you’re mostly secular. it can be super generic thoughts or secular thoughts or anything. i’m just at this initial explore-everything stage of trying to find what works for me. ______________________________________ I am a secular witch, but I am also pagan. TheContinue reading “I’m trying to better care for my body, and I’ve been looking for a myth or deity or such to help me do this. Idk but do you have any recommendations of places to research? hi! i’m a brand new witch and want to mainly worship with wither artemis or athena. could you give me some pros of both of them and how to make an initial offering? thank you so much!

I have zero knowledge or familiarity with the two of them. I am a devotee of Cernunnos and have occasional dealing with Thor and Anubis. Sorry I can’t help on that point.  Any followers worshipers of them have any input for nonny? As for initial offerings Here is a good post from Word Press forContinue reading “hi! i’m a brand new witch and want to mainly worship with wither artemis or athena. could you give me some pros of both of them and how to make an initial offering? thank you so much!”

A Triad: Three things which may not be opposed: nature, necessity, and decay.

Smoke poured from her lips as he watched her with curious eyes. She had said she was a Seer and he had asked her of his future. Now she sat with eyes closed as she puffed on the tobacco pipe in silence. “There are three things you must know; three things that cannot be opposedContinue reading “A Triad: Three things which may not be opposed: nature, necessity, and decay.”

can you write about the stars, guns and motionlessness

Let’s go ahead and trigger this…  TW: Violence, TW: Guns, TW: Death  Under a cut just for caution. She watched him as if everything were in slow motion around her. The sweat on his forehead, the desperate look of uncertainty in his eyes. She was certain this would end badly, but there was no changingContinue reading “can you write about the stars, guns and motionlessness”
