Triggers post – I want to add that sometimes there are ‘delayed’ triggers. Things that make your negative behaviors worse/more dangerous/more frequent. Like seeing an injury or reading description and not taking immediate action, but perhaps feeling compelled to see/read more, which later leads to more severe harm/more urges to harm/less desire to not harm. Sounds legit to me, honestly. I feel like anything that causes you more than moderate discomfort, no matter how long after the thing in question, would still be considered a trigger.
