I really want to get my helix but I’ve had problems w/ my past piercings. my 1st lobes got infected(& was done w/ a gun) but my 2nd lobes weren’t & it healed just fine. do you think it was a problem w/ the gun? should I still get my helix? thank you!

safepiercing: As we’ve discussed many times guns are not used in professional piercing. Mall kiosk piercing is not the same thing as a carefully and professionally performed body piercing. Helix piercings (upper ear cartilage) will typically heal easily when done correctly, with good quality jewelry and aftercare practices.  Ryan Ouellette, APP outreach
