From what I’ve experienced and talked to people about, a lot of people don’t really “decide” to be a witch. It just feels right.

natural-magics: this is my experience as well. Same for me. I have always loved the aesthetic and the idea of being a witch, but never really followed through until my mid-twenties. Then I just say hell with it and went for it. ^_^

I’ve been getting in the habit of carrying my deck with me to Wafflehouse. I’ve had a few people approach me and ask for a reading and it makes me so nervous to have to refer to my book when there is a card I hadn’t pulled before.
