Working on myself a lot more and just trying to get by and have a little fun along the way. I miss youContinue reading

Hi there I really love your blog! I see you post/reblog a lot of helpful advice and I just wanted to ask if you knew anything about the god cernunnos?
death-witch-envy: As a Wiccan who hasn’t worked with Cernunnos specifically, I feel unqualified to answer this. Although Cernunnos and the Wiccan God have similarities, They aren’t the same deity. I don’t want to accidentally misinform you. Sorry! Thanks for the compliment! I’m going to ask my followers to comment/reblog this post if they have any information.Continue reading “Hi there I really love your blog! Do you have any advice for someone who has always been Christian, and who genuinely believes in the Christian faith, but who has recently had an encounter with one of the Norse gods? There’s been a lot of synchronicities in my life lately that are way too clear to be a coincidence, but I’m not sure how to fit this deity and their call into my life and practice without sacrificing my previously-held beliefs. Any thoughts?
north-of-annwn: Hi there, I can totally relate to where you are coming from. Early in my Pagan path I was Christo pagan and I was struggling with the something similar. So let me answer from a more Christian perspective, out of respect for your beliefs and religious perspective. According to the Bible, “you should haveContinue reading “Do you have any advice for someone who has always been Christian, and who genuinely believes in the Christian faith, but who has recently had an encounter with one of the Norse gods? Is it acceptable to politely decline to engage in prayer before a meal when you’re a guest in someone’s home? I understand the whole “their house, their rules” but I would NEVER prevent someone from praying before a meal in my home so should I be forced to say a prayer in theirs? Has a situation like this ever come up for you? How would you handle it?
: Not quite this specific situation, but I know the problem that arises with it. A lot of folks don’t really think about it when they’re in their own home. Their religion is a part of them and their home is most likely where they practice alongside everyday life. It may not come to mindContinue reading “Is it acceptable to politely decline to engage in prayer before a meal when you’re a guest in someone’s home?
