My roommate is an alcoholic who thinks he can control his drinking. And when I reminded him of the promise he made, to not have alcohol in the house, he said, “but what if my gf is over and we’re sharing a bottle of wine?” I figure it is only a matter of time before he is all-out drunk and nonfunctional for a week, as has happened in the past. Looks like when this lease is up, I will be moving for the fourth year in a row.
