The ‘blessed be’ and ‘merry meet’ taglines that [wiccans? someone?] use really grates on me even though I know it is meant to be benevolent. Are there any ways to protect against this?
swampseer: Your best bet is to just tell them you’re not fond of it. You could always say something like ‘thanks for the sentiment but no thanks’ As for protection specifically against this, I’m not super sure if it’s necessary since it’s not something malevolent.
