plarabee: We see spirits every day of our lives, they are just veiled in flesh and foliage, in fur and feather and scales. It is easy to forget that we are surrounded by living spirits when we seek to spend so much time with the ones that are dead and unseen.

I’m not 100% sure if they’re friendly or not. In my personal opinion, I think they are, because they haven’t really messed with anything, just made their presence known. Before I got into magick, I’d sometimes sort of feel a presence when no one was there, but always shrugged it off as paranoia. Also, when left home alone, sometimes I’d catch glimpses of (from what I’ve researched) something called “shadow people” or a shadow person if it’s the same one every time. (1/2)

Once I began practicing, the lights in my room would flicker on and off sometimes.
