So I learned this weekend that there’s this thing called a ‘mommy divot’ that you get when you give birth. Evidently, because doing so makes your hips dislocate, your hips will just kind of sit on top of your legs instead of joining them smoothly.

And I’ve had that ever since my hips started coming in so I was really confused.

But then I realized that there hasn’t been a time when I cannot remember being able to do a perfect side-split.

I have child-bearing hips because my 4-year-old self was a little show-off.

You know. My hips…I’ve always figured they were just put on sideways. I’ve got what dancers call amazing turn-out, and I can still do the ‘butterfly stretch’ much better than any straight-legged stretches. I can’t touch my toes, yanno? Is that at all similar to what you’re talking about?

PICTURES OF BUTTS!

See how in the second picture, the hip just kind of sits on top of the legs and there’s a huge difference between the hip and leg? That’s what I’m talking about.

And I have absolutely no trouble touching my toes. I’m palms on the floor. This doesn’t affect my flexibility at all, it just means that I have to buy mom jeans.

I think you just pranked me to look at my own ass.

>_>;

<_<;

because I did.

I do not have the displacement. o_o

But that is expected as I haven’t had children nor am I very flexible.

*goes to look at her own butt*
I couldn’t help myself. XD
