Don’t rely solely on the spells of other people. Come up with your own spells and rituals. It makes things more personal and catered to your specific needs and allows you to take your own approach. If you’re a newbie, definitely do your research and use other people’s spells as a guide and a place to start. But don’t think you have to go literally by the book. It’s your path so you might as well put your unique perspective into it.
