Mom has finished her radiation for the cancer on her brain and had a PET Scan to find out if there was anymore hanging around that needs to be dealt with.
They found another spot on her kidney and are scheduling her for a biopsy soon to see what it is. From there we’ll find out when and how long she’ll need chemo and radiation for this.
They believe that it may all be related and that it could be the brain cancer that’s popped up in other places.
While this is not great news it is much better than what we’d been preparing ourselves to hear.
