We had a family get together today with my two brothers, two great aunts, mom, dad, nephew, cousin, and husband. I was stressed and worried someone might act like an ass, as my oldest brother is known to do, but everyone was really well behaved. Mom was released and sent home from the hospital. Before you get too happy let me backtrack. (long post, under the cut) My mom started out this whole thing by being diagnosed with lung cancer. There will be no news on what’s up with mom for another week or more. She had her appointments mixed up and she actually saw her regular doctor not her Cancer Center doctor. Mom has finished her radiation for the cancer on her brain and had a PET Scan to find out if there was anymore hanging around that needs to be dealt with.
